- Earth Alley owner, Eva Khoury, returns to Baltimore after living in the Pacific Northwest – the home of eco-friendly - for several years. This latest move is just the most recent in a long history of travel. Some the places Eva has lived and worked include the Southwest, the Pacific Northwest as well as in Paris, France, Denmark and in New Zealand. Her roving feet have taken here to Europe, North Africa, the Middle-east, the Pacific Islands, Latin America, the Caribbean and most recently, Vietnam. These far-flung travels have left no doubt that we are all connected on this green globe and our choices affect more than just ourselves. As a community development professional, Eva assisted inner city communities start urban gardening programs. This endeavor led her to become certified as a Master Gardener and helped nurture a still growing (pun intended!) love for gardening and garden design. Eva has had her own landscape design business and taught classes in landscape design in Tacoma and Seattle. She is available for consultation if you have an area of your yard where you just don’t know what to do.
